Chiang Mai Yi Peng Festival 2026

Chiang Mai Municipality's Yi Peng festival, with Lanna cultural performances, lighting of phang prathip (clay oil lamps) and a grand krathong parade contest on 25 Nov. A lovely chance for the whole family to dress in traditional local clothes and go out together. This year, people are asked not to release sky lanterns within the city area.
