How we write
Every article starts from a question moms actually ask. We answer it clearly up front, then go into detail, drawing on trustworthy sources such as hospitals, government agencies and health organizations, and we list references at the end of the article where relevant.
Health topics
Content on this site is general information, not a diagnosis or medical advice. We review health content against official sources, avoid words like “cure”, “fully healed” or “guaranteed results”, and always encourage you to talk to a doctor, nurse or pharmacist if something seems wrong.
Updates
We review articles regularly, and the last updated date appears under each article’s title. City guides and event listings can change dates, times, opening hours or prices, so please check with the venue or organiser before you go.
Links, brands and sponsored content
We link to brands or shops when we think it’s useful for readers. The Skinhug brand is connected to our team. When it appears in an article or ranking, it is scored and reviewed on the same criteria as every other brand. Sponsored content or ad space is always clearly labelled “Sponsor”.
Rankings and affiliate links
Ranking pages always state their scoring criteria at the top, and say plainly whether we tested the products or compared them from data. Some links may be affiliate links (you pay the same price), and brands cannot pay to change a ranking or a score. Details are on our “How we rank” and “Affiliate disclosure” pages.
Reporting mistakes
If you find information that’s wrong or out of date, tell us at [email protected] and we’ll check and fix it. Thank you so much.
