About MamaMapa
MamaMapa (มามามาป้ะ, "a mom's map") started from a simple problem many parents know: there's a lot of parenting information out there, but it's surprisingly hard to find the kind that's calm, practical and not trying to sell you something.
Our main site is in Thai, written mom to mom, from pregnancy and newborns to toddlers, plus the side of motherhood people rarely talk about: building your own business or income while raising kids. In English, we cover what's most useful for families living in or visiting Thailand: family events, local guides and baby gear rankings.
What we stand by
- Useful first. We answer the question clearly, right at the top.
- No scaremongering, no overclaiming. For anything health-related, we always point you to a doctor.
- Independent. We link to good sources, including hospitals, government agencies and brands, when they genuinely help.
- Local. Our city guides are built from real, checked information and updated regularly.
