Bueng Phlan Chai lights up with 10 light art installations telling stories of Isan faith and culture. Fireworks on opening night, 9 Oct, and live music on some days. Take the family for an evening walk among the lights.
What's on
- 10 light installations using lights, projection mapping, lasers, mist screens and LED screens
- A giant moving Naga at the Follow the Naga spot, and a Himmapan forest made from lasers and mist
- An Isan Playground zone with white squirrels, the sound of the wot (Isan pan flute) and firefly-like lights
- A purple walkway of Inthanin flowers, and the Phlan Chai pavilion in the middle of the lake beautifully lit up

Tips before you go
- Open 17:00 to midnight. With little ones, it's better to come early in the evening and head home before it gets late
- It's outdoors around the lake, so bring mosquito repellent and drinking water
- Nights with live music may be crowded, so keep your child close
